Bought myself one of these sleek looking Sony Digital Radios today! My old Sony stereo system was a beast (the speakers are monsters, I’ve only ever put the volume as high as 3/10 and that’s already VERY, VERY loud) but the radio is terrible and the tape decks and turntable don’t even work anymore (no CD player). I used to plug my MacBook into it just to use the speakers but since upgrading to an iMac I find the computer speakers great for use in my room. As we are preparing to move into a new house soon, I am looking to simplify things in my new bedroom/work-area and this little radio will be perfect replacement for my old clunky one.

Might think about keeping the speakers though in case I buy a little turntable to play my old records.
