Wow. The teaser trailer for Grand Theft Auto V is awesome! Looks like the setting (either Los Santos or possibly San Andreas in its entirety!!!) will be much more ‘livelier’ than GTA IV. A lot of people are speculating that the main character might be an older version of Tommy Vercetti from GTA Vice City, and I have to say that I thought exactly the same thing when I first watched it. When you think about it, the GTA games have had many different main characters of different racial types, Italian, African-American, Yugoslavian, Asian, Hispanic, and the American biker dude just to name a few. The common thing between all these characters is that they’re all kinda around the same age at the time of their stories. I think a story revolving around an older character (whether it’s Tommy or not) could be a nice change of pace for the series and quite cool if Rockstar Games can pull it off (they haven’t failed me yet!). But I’m sure whatever path they choose to take will make for a great game. Looking forward to seeing more of this game in the near future.
